About Hawk Fire Protection

Fire Safety Done Properly

An independent fire and security company working with businesses, building owners and property managers across the UK.

Assess It, Then Put It Right

Hawk Fire Protection was set up to close the gap most building owners run into. One company writes the fire risk assessment, hands over a list of twelve actions, and disappears. Another quotes for the alarm. A third does the doors. Nobody owns the outcome, and six months later the action plan is still open.

We do both halves. We carry out the assessment, explain what it found in plain English, and then install the alarms, doors, extinguishers, emergency lighting and signage that close the actions out. You get one point of contact, one set of certificates, and a building that would stand up to an inspection.

We work with business owners, facilities managers, landlords and operators of every size, and especially the people who carry a genuine legal duty without a compliance department behind them. We tell you what the law actually requires rather than selling you the longest possible list, and we'll say when something in your building is fine as it is.

The business is owned and run by Robert Haughey. Hawk Fire Protection is a member of the Fire Protection Association, and Robert is working towards his Level 4 qualification in fire risk assessment through the FPA and FireQual, the awarding body for the fire industry.

How we operate

What You Can Expect

Straight Answers

We tell you what the regulations require and what they don't. If your alarm is adequate for the building, we'll say so rather than quote to replace it.

Fixed Prices

The price for the assessment is agreed before we attend, and the price for remedial work is agreed before we start. No day rates that quietly grow.

Work Around Your Business

Assessments and installations booked at times that suit your trading hours, staff and occupants, so you're not losing a day of business to us.

Paperwork That Holds Up

Certificates, test records and logbook entries issued as we go, so when the licensing officer or the insurer asks, you can hand it over the same day.
